This revised brand-new QJ locomotive is loaded with remarkable, state-of-the-art features that set a new standard in performance and innovation.
Internal mechanical reformation:
Redesigned smoke generator with stronger smoke output function. It achieves a long single smoke emission time at low speeds, while maintaining a noticeable intermittent smoke emission even at high speeds.
Cylinder vent valve also can have smoke exhaust function known as lower smoke puffing.
The tractive power transmission ratio of the QJ model is increased from 1/25 to 1/60, making it more stable at low speeds and smoother at high speeds.
The components of the QJ locomotive transmission mechanism have been machined by an industrial tempered level process with the worm and gears hardness to HRC 40-45 standard. Results with an unbeatable durability in operation.
Enhanced all featured light functions including directional lights, cabin lights, downward inclination boiler fire box, chassis inspection lights. Also with red warning lights on both sides.
The electric main board interface uses a UV-curing adhesive encapsulation process to prevent leakage caused by condensation of smoke fluid which could properly avoid abnormal operating function.

Appearance improvements:
The whistle control tube has been changed from an embossed design to a separate component.
Boiler pedals have been changed from embossed designs to individual etched metal pieces, with the footrests featuring a patterned iron plate texture.
QJ's front plates have been replaced with brass sheet etching. The plate frame and large lettering have a 3-D visual effect. Number plates are made of metal parts and using metal etching and laser welding processes.
Chinese hook type coupler features a lifting ring, making KFIRST's simulated coupler compatible with all NEM standard train models. Additionally, 3 different coupler sets are included and ready for various locomotives, passenger cars, and freight cars.
